SYNOPSIS
Whether you’re a DoD Prime Contractor or a supplier / subcontractor performing work for a prime, changes in the CMMC program and other federal cybersecurity regulations may impact your business.
In this special return of the Cyber Collaboration Center DFARS/NIST/CMMC Webinar Series, eResilience experts will provide an update on the latest information about CMMC including impacts and best practices associated with recent changes to the program, discussing how the pause in 3rd-party certification requirements has created confusion and placed greater liability on prime contractors to track and validate the compliance status of their supply chains; how the adoption of NIST SP 800-171 R3 across other federal agencies creates increased responsibilities for all contractors (and the importance of completing a CMMC Level 2 assessment before the transition to 171 R3); and how to leverage best practices to optimize your organization’s competitive advantages in a rapidly evolving landscape of cyber requirements.
We will also be joined by guest speaker Eric Crusius, a partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP who leads the firm’s government contracts practice in Washington, DC. Eric is a widely acclaimed expert and frequent conference speaker on contractor cybersecurity standards and enforcement. Mr. Crusius will provide updates on recent False Claims Act (FCA) cases and insights from the legal perspective.
