SYNOPSIS
Mid to Large prime contractors should gather their contracting, procurement, and supply chain leadership and join us for this important event on Thursday April 4th at 4:00 PM ET. This non-technical webinar may run up to 90 minutes in order cover the material and allow for Q&A. It will focus on the CMMC proposed ruling’s expected impacts to prime contractors and their suppliers, and how to mitigate them.
This webinar will recap some of the new ruling highlights and then focus on areas that pose high risk for potentially significant impacts, that were not expected and may have been easily overlooked.
If you’re a DoD prime contractor, it’s time to make sure your subs aren’t playing the “waiting game”. You’re responsible for ensuring the compliance of your supply chain. Legal risks may also increase including issues relating to False Claims Act violations, whistleblowers, bid protests and more. By identifying and understanding the requirements and potential issues, helping your suppliers get things in order, and minimizing the risks for your company and your supply chain you’ll increase your potential for successful bids in the future.
In addition to getting ready for 3rd-party certification of your own cyber compliance, if you’re a prime contractor you also need to develop accurate situational awareness of the cyber compliance status of your suppliers now more than ever.
Timothy Williams, Technical Director of eResilience (along with Cyber Evangelist Larry Lieberman) will be joined by Meghan Doherty of Pillsbury Law to break down some of the highlights and hidden “gotchas” revealed by the proposed ruling, review the anticipated timeline, and explore what prime contractors should expect from their subs and how to build a winning strategy across the supply chain.
If you are a mid-sized (250 employees or larger) or large prime contractor and you (and your procurement team) are interested in joining this specially-focused webinar, please email us at info@cybercollab.org with “Request Registration Link” in the subject line or message text.
